We are looking for a Product Owner - daily banking to join us at this pivotal moment, share our vision, and help shape the future of European banking.

What you will be doing?

You will lead the development of our Daily Banking product suite and services, inc. current accounts, joint accounts, junior accounts (kids), and FX services. Your goal is to craft competitive value propositions that meet the needs of our customers

Key Success Metrics:

  • Delivery: Healthy project backlog and good team velocity

  • Growth & engagement: New customer acquisition, salary/activity domicile rates and Mobile App active users

  • Revenue: FX conversion volume and margins

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision: Contribute to the long-term strategy for the Daily Banking vertical.

  • Backlog Management: Prepare and prioritize the backlog for a dedicated delivery team based on inputs from many stakeholders.

  • P&L Ownership: Drive commercial success by managing pricing strategies, margins, and revenue. Prepare yearly budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial simulations for new features or re-pricing.

  • Commercial Campaigns: Design and test promotions in collaboration with Marketing and CRM teams, ensuring a solid legal and regulatory framework.

  • Team Leadership: Act as a Line Manager for the DB delivery team (recruitment, performance management) and serve as Scrum Lead for agile rituals.

  • Product Discovery: Conduct continuous benchmarking, market research, and user feedback collection to stay ahead of global trends and regulatory changes.

  • Execution: Design products by helping analysts to create high-quality JIRA tickets and design artefacts (wire-frames, mockups epics)

  • Compliance & Risk: Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to assess risks and draft essential documentation (T&Cs, Price Lists, Product Fact Sheets).

  • Operational Excellence: Define non-automated operational processes in cooperation with the Ops team and create standard operating manuals.

  • UAT & Launch: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign off "Go-Live" decisions in both UAT and Production environments.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, overseeing procurement, GDPR assessments, and IT security standards.

Skills you should have

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager/Owner in Banking or Fintech or similar role

  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of core PI banking products (Current Accounts, FX, including at least basic understanding of regulatory frameworks).

  • Commercial Acumen: Focus on product excellence and Unique Selling Proposition (USP), preferably with a proven track record of responsibility for P&L result

  • Technical Fluency: Understanding of APIs and core banking systems 

  • Agile Mastery: Proven experience in leading Scrum ceremonies and managing delivery velocity

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience in drafting legal artifacts and designing compliant processes

  • Language: Fluency in Polish and English.
