We are currently looking for a AI Risk Manager ready to join our adventure, share our ambition and help shape the future of digital banking.

What you will be doing?

We are looking for an innovative AI Risk Manager to act as a strategic Independent Control Function within our 2LoD. This role is crucial for developing and overseeing the IT Risk Management framework, enabling the safe, ethical, and compliant deployment of AI/ML technologies by being responsible for:

  • Framework Leadership: Lead the design and continuous optimization of the IT Risk Management Framework (including ICT Risk, Operational Resilience, Outsourcing, and Data Management) aligned with DORA and industry best practices.

  • AI/ML Governance: Define and embed the 2LoD control infrastructure across the entire AI lifecycle (development, validation, monitoring) to ensure consistent risk standards by 1LoD teams.

  • Control Automation & Metrics: Drive the strategic use of automated tools for continuous Control Effectiveness Assessment (CEA). Define standards for automated Data Quality Audits (DQA). Develop and monitor critical KRIs/KPIs for AI, Operational Resilience (BCM, MTTR), and 3rd Party ICT Providers.

  • Regulatory Assurance: Act as the subject matter expert on AI risk, providing independent challenge and assurance on high-impact AI/ML deployments. Advise senior leadership on compliance obligations (e.g., EU AI Act) and engage with supervisory authorities.

  • Emerging Tech: Introduce governance and risk standards for new technologies, ensuring responsible use.

Skills you should have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.

  • Minimum 2 years in Model Risk, AI/ML Governance, or Quantitative/Technology Risk, preferably in a financial services or highly regulated environment.

  • Deep practical experience developing risk/governance frameworks for AI/ML. 

  • Strong understanding of the AI development lifecycle and MLOps principles.

  • Excellent knowledge of current and emerging regulations (EU AI Act, DORA).

  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance) is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills to articulate technical risk to all levels. English fluency is mandatory.
