We are currently looking for a Workplace Engineer ready to join our adventure and share our ambition.  
What you will be doing?
As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for managing user setup, access controls to various systems and applications, maintaining IT best practices and compliance with internal policies. You will be supporting users in 4 countries and and over 500 MacBook Pro workstations
 
The responsibilities in this role include but not limited to the following:
 
  • Ensuring all incidents and service requests are resolved against SLAs and with the highest customer service standards. Communicates with end-users to communicate ticket resolution
  • Staff onboarding and off-boarding, including laptop imaging and account creation/configuration. Working with a facilities team to organize IT equipment shipments when needed
  • Follows standard operating procedures, system development life cycle methodology and policies
  • Providing on-site and remote resolution of common computing/network issues
  • Responds to help desk tickets using the appropriate tools and channels of escalation. Accurately recording all in the JIRA
  • Implements patches and upgrades to fix operations system problems or vulnerabilities
  • Maintains equipment inventory properly organized in the office and in our system

Skills you should have
You are customer oriented and approachable with a mature personality. You understand the nature of the multi-domain IT environments and you have experience in working with a demanding customer and demonstrate good organizational skills. Desired skills and qualifications:
 
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer or similar
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills. Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of MacOS and apple devices MacBooks/iPhone
  • Experience with JAMF or other MDM tools 
  • Basic IT Network troubleshooting skills and Linux knowledge
  • Experience in working with Google Workspace  / Google Cloud Platform, understanding the cloud-based solutions
  • Familiarity with VPN/PKI solutions 
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills in English
