What we do?

ETFmatic, a part of Aion Bank, provides an automated wealth and investment management platform to its own clients and via its BaaS partners. The platform is highly customizable and enables Aion Bank and our partners to offer affordable investment strategies to our clients. 

Now, we are looking for a Director of Business Development ready to join our adventure and share our ambition.  

What you will be doing?
  • Coordinate all business development and marketing efforts of ETFmatic across Europe

  • Lead a small team, which currently consists of four members. You will help them achieve their goals, and give direction in terms of sales strategies and their own development.  

  • Work with our channel and distribution partners to support their activities in selling and marketing our services. 

  • Actively search for Investment-as-a-Service B2B partners that would like to offer investment services based on the ETFmatic investment platform as a part of their product offer to B2C clients.

  • Actively lead prospecting and demand generation for Investment-as-a-Service opportunities across challenger banks, fintech, and other relevant players in a given market.

  • Drive customers through to close by thoughtfully addressing key stakeholders in the buyer journey while navigating organizational complexities.

  • Lead multi-functional teams to support strategic complex sales through the sales funnel.

  • Proactively build and improve the go-to-market strategy, processes, and culture of the commercial organization.

Skills you should have
  • 5+ years B2B sales experience will be required with at least 2 years spent in financial services or fintech industries within sales. 

  • Experience in coaching, developing, and leading others. 

  • Understanding of retail investment products and the regulations shaping our market.

  • Demonstrable history of consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious targets.

  • Outstanding self-starter approach with the ability to be successful with the very limited initial infrastructure.

  • Curiosity, creativity, and persistence. You should be excited to collaborate with customers as a thoughtful partner.

  • Strong communication skills and the versatility to connect effectively with a range of stakeholders, including bankers, team project leads and executives in the industry.

  • You will work in an international environment, so you need to speak English fluently. It will be beneficial if you speak German or Spanish or any Scandinavian language.

If you feel like working from the office we have space available for you in Brussels, Madrid, and Warsaw. Each office is very nicely located with convenient commute options by public transport and by bike. Our office in Warsaw also offers delicious food throughout the day.
